After over 2 weeks of contractions and us thinking "today's the day", the day FINALLY came upon us! We'd been out yardsaling (yeah, it's a word!) Saturday morning, had lunch, then I was working around the yard and house. Came in and laid down for a few minutes rest. Evelyn laid down beside me for a while, then suggested I get a shower since we had been planning to go to friends that evening for a pay-per-view. Well, I got out of the shower and got ready and she called the clinic and says she's been having serious contractions since about 4:00 - they advise her to head on into the hospital. We get there at 8:11pm Saturday night. After a long night up all night, and over an hour of Evelyn pushing, Calvin finally made his debut at 11:58 am the Sunday! 20 hours later!!!

Well, mom and bub came out a-ok! Calvin is a BIG healthy baby, passing the doctors tests with flying colors! And me being the shutterbug that I am, wasted no time in getting the camera clicking! I have uploaded some pictures, and a full gallery as well.
